Virtual Sales Employee

Virtual/Remote Position 

$25/hr commensurable with experience

Full Time 35-40 hours per week, with available flex start time. 

Purpose: Sales and business development with prospects and clientele.

Summary: The Virtual Assistant employment position is remote. This position is a direct report to the Chief Operations Officer and President. 

This role involves outreach to prospects and old clients within our database to perform brainstorming/strategy sessions with the goal of enrolling them in a monthly package with Virtual Assist USA. Your role will be to consistently meet and exceed agreed upon enrollment goals.


This position is a virtual sales position; you will work from a home office. Phone calls and emailing to leads and clients is a must.


Responsibilities include:

  • Make outbound calls to potential and existing customers by telephone and e-mail to qualified leads and sell Virtual Assistant services.

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and statistics within the CRM, Active Campaign.

  • This is a “dial out” sales role in addition to requiring that you handle inbound sales calls and convert those calls into clients

  • Build and maintain customer relationships

  • Help find the most effective ways to support prospects and clients and optimize conversations

  • Logged into Teamwork and Teamwork PM chat (internal instant messaging system) at all times while working

  • Available for client calls and work during normal business hours 9a-5p Est with available flex time 

  • Proactive outreach to clients and projects

  • Adheres to all policies outlines in Employee Handbook

  • Track all time in Teamwork PM using Teamwork’s time tracker for accurate client billing

  • Other marketing-related duties or special projects to be assigned by COO and President 


  • Recent sales experience with an emphasis on telephone selling

  • Strong computer and technology skills 

  • The ability to build rapport and be able to correspond with people from a wide variety of industries and backgrounds. Be able to adapt to different situations and personalities quickly.
