Megan is a part project manager, part advisor, and part executive administrator. She is an extremely detail-oriented and systematic Virtual Assistant with the initiative to lead a team or work independently as needed. Prior to joining Virtual Assist USA, Megan worked at Crayola, a leading national corporation. There, she managed regulations and compliance, led cross-department coordination efforts, coordinated with international teams, completed and submitted documentation, performed audits and communicated directly with high-ranking officers from Amazon, Walmart, Walgreens, and Michaels. Throughout her career, she has served as an Executive Assistant to managers and directors, performing tasks such as preparing expense reports, scheduling meetings, performing research, running reports and maintaining logs, and providing logistical/operational support while all other clerical duties. Megan has nearly 15 years utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook in an executive administrative capacity. She's extremely skilled in following protocol and procedures, organizing and analyzing data, and working alongside higher management.
A U.S. Army veteran, Megan served both overseas and stateside, including providing relief for Hurricane Katrina victims and serving in Operation Enduring Freedom. Through her military experience, she has learned to complete tasks in a deadline-driven environment, under strenuous conditions.
Megan graduated Summa Cum Laude with her Bachelor's Degree in Biotechnology from East Stoudsburg Univerisity where she was a member of the National Honor Society. Megan has also taken additional coursework in extensive Leadership Training.
Fun fact about Megan: In college, Megan worked as a personal trainer and fitness has always been an important part of her life.
